Palermo perceives humanity in a renaissance (or massive
discovery and learning) period. Historically, such times have
been somewhat volatile as those rooted in "tried and true" concepts
of the struggle with perceiving new understandings that would seem
to imply that what was previously known was "wrong." "Not
'wrong,' just 'outdated." says Joe. "Of all the things
humanity seems to be about, curiosity (discovery), learning (growth)
